SwipeClue is designed around data minimization: collect less, keep less, and never turn a safety check into a public profile.

How a check is processed
When AI analysis is available, the profile text, conversation excerpt, or screenshot you submit is sent securely to the OpenAI API to generate a one-time report. SwipeClue does not create an account, save the submission in a SwipeClue database, or make the report public. If AI analysis is unavailable, pasted text may be reviewed by the on-page scanner instead; screenshot words are not read in that fallback.
Information you provide
You may choose to paste profile text or conversation excerpts and select a screenshot. Remove names, faces, usernames, phone numbers, email addresses, financial details, intimate material, and other unnecessary identifiers before submitting content. SwipeClue asks the analysis system to ignore and redact identifiers, but automated redaction may be imperfect.
AI provider handling
OpenAI states that data sent through its API is not used to train its models by default. OpenAI may retain API content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days, subject to its policies and legal obligations. See OpenAI's API data controls for current details.
Basic website information
Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and security events to deliver, rate-limit, and protect the website. SwipeClue does not currently use this information to build a dating dossier.
What we do not do
- We do not sell submitted photos or conversations.
- We do not create facial-recognition templates.
- We do not publish checks or searchable personal dossiers.
- We do not use submissions to locate hidden accounts, homes, or workplaces.
Your choices
Do not submit content you are not permitted to use. Do not submit intimate images, information about minors, passwords, financial credentials, or anything you do not want processed by an AI provider. For privacy questions, contact contact@swipeclue.com.
